Book of Cain : Preview et date de sortie US... et FR !
Parmi les stands que je souhaitais absolument pas manquer à la BlizzCon 2011, il y avait celui d'Insight Editions, l'éditeur des livres Book of Cain et The Art of Blizzard. Dans cette news, c'est ce premier qui nous intéresse tout particulièrement. Le livre était disponible dans son intégralité, si ce n'est que la version finale n'utiliserait pas le même type de papier. En effet, afin de donner une impression d'un livre plus ancien, l'éditeur utilisera un papier dont les bords sont irréguliers et donnent l'impression d'être quelques peu abîmés. Cela devrait faire un peu plus "parchemin" en quelque sorte.
J'ai feuilleté le livre et franchement, il devrait faire le bonheur de la plupart d'entre-vous. Les illustrations sont parfois de toute beauté et on trouve énormément d'infos. Chris Metzen y a fait plusieurs fois référence lors des conférences et on sent qu'il s'agira d'une référence pour le Lore de Diablo. Insight Editions proposera un livre cartonné de 148 pages mesurant environ 20x25cm et qui sera vendu 34,99 dollars US. La sortie est prévue pour les environs du 10 décembre en anglais (amazon.fr) et en janvier pour la version française.
